THE BRAND
Our Story
WroeTrends began in 2016, almost by accident.
Before starting the brand, founder Nathan Wroe worked as a content creator, modelling clothing and promoting other fashion labels online. With a genuine passion for style, he decided to create a separate Instagram page dedicated to sharing and promoting brands he liked.
That page needed a name.
Using his surname, Nathan came up with WroeTrends, a name that felt personal and perfectly suited a page focused on fashion and emerging trends.
Having always worn and collected hats, Nathan then decided to create a custom cap featuring a logo that would represent the page. He put together several designs and showed them to his mum. She chose the logo that would go on to become the official WroeTrends emblem, the same original logo that remains part of the brand ten years later.
Nathan shared a photograph on the new WroeTrends Instagram page wearing the cap. Not long afterwards, he received a message from someone asking where they could buy it.
At the time, the cap was not a product. It had simply been created for Nathan to wear and promote the page. But the response that followed changed everything.
The person explained that he was part of a hat collectors’ group in the United States and that more than 200 members were interested in purchasing the cap.
That was the moment Nathan realised WroeTrends could become something much bigger.
Before the brand had properly launched in England, WroeTrends caps were already being sold to customers across America.
What started as an Instagram page soon became an independent UK streetwear brand built around original design, individuality and confidence. Since then, WroeTrends has gained media recognition, worked in partnership with The Gym Group and had its clothing worn by models featured across national publications.
Ten years later, the brand is entering a new chapter while staying true to where it began: one idea, one cap and one logo chosen by Nathan’s mum.
Every collection continues to be created with the same passion for fashion, attention to detail and ambition to produce distinctive clothing that people feel proud to wear.
